What is the average size of the penis and what are the extremes?

According to some experts, the average size is 5.9 inches and 90% of all penises are between 5.1 inches and 7 inches.

The world records for a fully functional penises are as follows. On the low end it is 0.6 inches. On the high end it is a whooping 11.7 inches.

Can my penis size be increased?

Yes. There are two widely known and practiced surgical procedures to increase penis size-- the Bihari Procedure, and Fat Injection.

The Bihari Procedure consists of cutting loose the ligament that attaches the base of the penis to the body. This gives an adverage of between one-half and two inches of increased over all length to the penis. However, because the penis is no longer secured to the persons body an erection will no longer point strait up.

Fat Injection consists of removing fat from the backs of the patients thighs and injecting it into the body of the penis to make the penis girth larger (wideness). In most cases the body rejects a fairly large portion of the fat injection. This procedure may need to be repeated several times and each operation carries with it a severe risk of infection. I strongly disagree with this procedure.

What is circumcision and why is it done?

Male circumcision is the surgical removal of the foreskin from the penis. When performed in a hospital, it is usually done very shortly after birth by a acting doctor or midwife. Circumcisions are also given to Jewish boys by a mohel in a ceremony eight days after birth.

Some Islamic boys are circumcised when they are older, around age 12 (ouch).
The majority of American boys are circumcised as it is a common practice in this day and age.

The more common reasons for circumcision include: better hygiene, "normal" or
"better" appearance, and "many believe his penis should look just like his father's."

Some of the more common reasons against circumcision include: it is no longer necessary for hygienic reasons; it is a very painful procedure, barbaric practice; possibility of infection or surgical error; "normal" or "better" appearance; "his penis should look like his father's.", and "much greater sensitivity of uncircumcised penis."
