When I told my daughter, Heather, about my Earth Angel friend, Janet, she said, "Dad, that's crazy!" Well, crazy or not, Janet is an extreme example of how much Our Awesome God loves His elect chosen.

Janet was adopted after the death of her mother into a loving family who was of eastern religious orientation. I understand that they still are. The belief centered on love and not hurting others! Their diet was clean and vegetarian. Janet was spiritual but not religious. She still is, as am I.

Upon meeting her soul mate, Michael J. Kempf, (another Earth Angel) about nine years ago, Janet was immediately frightened and "In love."

"I'm involved in a relationship with a man!" (True.) "I'm not interested and I'm Gay!" Janet lied.

Yet, Janet could not withstand the forces of destiny that had brought her and Michael together for a rough and exciting early ride. Before long, she and Michael were involved in a committed relationship, which continues until this day. Janet adores Michael while Michael is yet head-over-heals in love with his betrothed.

A prophet of Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ, Michael had a difficult time at the beginning of their relationship trying to convince his soul mate of the validity of The Messiah. After some time and much frustration, Michael and Janet were walking down the sidewalk along a busy thoroughfare. They were again arguing, not about God, but as some passionate people do. Michael had reached his "Witsend."

Reaching his arms toward heaven, Michael screamed, "God! Why do you love this woman so much?" Then, turning to Janet, Michael yelled, "God loves you so very much! You couldn't even kill yourself if you wanted too!"

"OH, YEAH?" Janet screamed back. "WATCH THIS!" Without Michael's love, Janet was afraid and felt that she nothing to live for. Immediately, Janet stepped off of the sidewalk to the street, into the path of a fast moving semi-truck. She spread her arms and waited. Michael, witnesses, and truck-brakes screamed in unison.

The semi hit Janet squarely and then ran over the top of her. While beneath the vehicle, Janet felt no pain. Even when the truck's tires ran over her, Janet was not injured. Rather, as she emerged, something caught her clothes and flipped Janet onto her feet as the semi skidded to a stop. The wristwatch that she wore was broken.

The poor truck driver likely was convinced of The Lord's love and mercy that day also. Janet, Michael, and I would like to hear from the trucker if and when he reads this article. Looking like a ghost, the fellow asked in shock and amazement, "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine!" Janet assured the disbelieving driver. Janet returned to Michael's side a believer freed of fear. Hearts united, the couple joined hands and they proceeded to a nearby market where the astonished clerk asked, "Aren't you the woman who was just run over by the truck?"

"YES," said Janet. "I AM! If you've never believed in God, you can now. I AM FINE."

Even if Janet hadn't admitted it to the clerk, the telltale tire tracks on her back would have satisfied the curious clerk's question.

So now you know "Jumping Janet," Michael and The Lord's lady, and another of my remarkable Earth Angels who can attest to God's great love in the face of unbridled passion. This Great and Awesome God Of Ours does not want any others of His elect chosen to have to be "Hit by a truck" in order to believe in His Son, Jesus.

(NASB) 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Simply say out loud, "Father God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that Jesus died for my sins and that the Lord raised Him from death. I now believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is My Lord and Savior." Now, Praise The Lord!

(CEV) Romans 10: 8 All who are acceptable because of their faith simply say, "The message is as near as your mouth or your heart." And this is the same message we preach about faith. 9 So you will be saved, if you honestly say, "Jesus is Lord," and if you believe with all your heart that God raised him from death. 10 God will accept you and save you, if you truly believe this and tell it to others.
