Israel was born in Egypt; this is where its history starts; in a similar manner, Egypt's future involves the Jews, like it or not,it will in the since of their return. Prophecy plays a big part with these two countries. So what must happen: the Jews first must return to Egypt, to fulfill this prophecy, but Egypt will be punished for its treatment of the Jews. (See Jeremiah. 46) I do not start with the beginning, but rather with the end movement. "Who is this that cometh up as a flood..." also two other African nations will be involved. At this time, any nation trying to help the Jews will be punished.

Egypt is King of the South, and the King of the North will destroy her, which is Russia. Perhaps a confederacy will develop out of the African countries: Ethiopia, Libya, Algeria, Egypt might be the head (so Prophecy would indicate something like this, and Libya has suggested something of this nature already). Egyptian power across Africa is what was visioned; Jeremiah has stated he has ventured into the future, in verse 10, "For this is the day of the Lord God of Hosts...a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates". This is the time leading up to the Second Coming of Christ. (Jer. Chap 12).

Egypt will gain power, but a superpower will defeat her (she will find some riches soon). We can also see this in Daniel 11. Daniel uses the term King of the South, but means, the head of a group, and Egypt being the head. We see I think, oil and Arab countries, perhaps gold, for riches will be discovered, so Obadiah mentions. He says all the men in the confederacy. This is not the 1976 war I believe with Israel. Egypt will of course be destroyed.

In the last days even Isaiah declares this so. The Jews now in Palestine will be driven out to Egypt, an attempt will be made to exterminate them all again, but they will escape. The world I assume of the Antichrist. Moses made it clear: "The Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again..." Deut. 28:68.
