Dating, according to the dictionary means: to go out socially with another person, often out of romantic interest, however, in order to get there, here a few things to go over. Dating today is not the same as it was 20 or 30 years ago. We are now a culmination of our experiences and wisdom gained and we must evaluate even before we embark upon dating the pre-dating preparations that are needed to truly make the most of our upcoming experiences. Words of wisdom: Remember, until you become the person you are looking for, you will not attract the kind of person you want. Here are a few things that are imperative to pre-dating: A personal makeover! You deserve it! While we took the time to heal, maybe we let ourselves go. So nows the ideal time to get to the hairdresser, change your color, hairstyle, are you daring enough? Do it today! Take a serious look at your wardrobe: are you suffering from being stuck in the 80s? Get a few new outfits, some jewelry, maybe a hat! Remember, you never have a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression. The next thing is your self confidence. By doing the makeover this will boost your confidence to a higher level, coupled with the fact (I hope) youve already embarked upon the road of attaining your new desires, cleansed your soul, healed from your pain, as well as ridding yourself of negative people. Ladies, if you truly desire to get out there and trust me, I know from personal experience, its daunting and scary but if you really want to allow someone into your life then you must take the necessary steps to get there even before you even meet anyone! And that leads us to the last phase. Desire, I love that word! It is a yearning sensation; it isnt the same as wanting or needing. The desire to meet someone, the desire to eat that chocolate bar, the desire to change jobs, whenever I say that word it some how puts more emphasis on whatever it is I desire. Food, shelter, money to survive. Wanting is closer to desire. You want affection, you want a better job, you want to find love, you want to better yourself. You dont need love, or to better yourself, nor do you need affection or a better job. You want it! Wanting lacks the yearning, that brings us to desire.
